Chelsea boss Lampard allays Abraham injury fear, provides update on RLC

Frank Lampard has allayed injury fears surrounding Tammy Abraham, with the Chelsea striker considered to be “alright” after coming off in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa.

Loftus-Cheek had to ‘learn to walk again’ after Chelsea injury

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has revealed he has had to learn to walk again after rupturing his Achilles tendon at the end of last season.

The 23-year-old – who agreed a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge in the summer – suffered the injury playing for the Blues in a friendly against New England Revolution in May and is set to miss a large chunk of this season. Read more
